Hans Voorberg- Still Life
Still Life photography allows for a wide range of creativity and artistic expression. It’s easy to take a photo of an apple. Making it look compelling, mysterious, vibrant, or beautiful is another matter. The creative use of lighting can make the most mundane subject into a dramatic photo and breathe life into the ordinary. This presentation will focus on lighting as the most important element of still life photography. There will be examples and discussion of classic, high-key, low-key, and abstract still life. Hans will bring along some of the props and lighting that he uses to set up his shots and will present many practical tips and ideas to inspire your own still life photography. This program will be a presentation with lots of interaction. Members will be encouraged to participate with questions, comments and suggestions.
